Butterfly Cheesecake

What You’ll Need:

40oz. The Father’s Table New York Style Cheesecake

1 roll of Necco Wafers

1 bag of pastel hard candies

1 roll of giant chewy Sweetarts

2 Cups whipped topping

Yellow food coloring

1 tube of purple & pink decorative icing

1 Twix chocolate candy bar

1 Pink Pull-A-Part Licorice

Directions:

Cut defrosted New York Style Cheesecake in half vertically. Rotate both halves so that the curved edges are facing each other. Place the candy bar in the middle of the two curved edges. Cut a slight notch 2/3 of the way down on both sides of the flat side of the cheesecake.

In a bowl, combine whipped topping with a few drops of yellow food coloring then spread over top of cheesecake and candy bar. Outline the edge of the cheesecake butterfly with the purple and pink decorative icings. Arrange hard candies, Necco wafers, and sweetarts to decorate the wings and body of the butterfly. Add 2 strands of pink pull-a-part licorice to the top of the candy bar to create the antennas. Keep refrigerated.
